Structural stability of a treated bamboo pole

Hi!!

I am happy to be part of this forum and would like to thank bamboo forum for its unconditional support for bamboo enthusiasts. I am an architect designing a boat house structure entirely with bamboo columns, trusses and roofing in India, Tamilnadu. This projects falls in the Coastal Regulation Zone, so we had to opt for a Semi-Temporary Structure.

So far so good... Project has commenced and we have treated the bamboo and almost ready to install them for final structural framework.. Now we wanna test the structural stability of the treated bamboo columns. Each Bamboo column is 3.5" to 4" dia. and a length of 6 meters.

The structural stability test is carried out in concrete, brick, steel and other construction materials, but, is there a thumb of rule method to test a treated bamboo pole's stability??

Please revert back to me asap!! Kindly treat this post as most important!!

Warm regards
