Potexviruses induce inclusions that are widley distributed in host tissue. The most conspicours inclusions are banded bodies. These inclusions are made of layers of virus particles. However the banned inclusions are susceptible to destruction when samples are prepared, so most often what is seen is a pink staining virus mass occasionally showing traces of banding ...
