The 12th Annual Texas Bamboo Festival will be held on August 28 and 29, 2004 at Zilker Botanical Gardens, Austin, TX
The festival is free and open to the public. Saturday 10 am - 6 pm, Sunday 11 am - 5 pm
Bamboo plants, poles, crafts, pottery, and books will be on sale and display, and on-going demonstrations will occur throughout the two-day event.

Presentation will focus on bamboo species identification, and which bamboo grow best in different circumstances
Saturday 3 pm Live Bamboo Auction

"New Texas Clumpers" presentation by John Nelson, Bamboo Texas
Sunday 1:15 pm

The Texas Bamboo Festival is the annual fund-raising event for the Texas Bamboo Society. Proceeds are used to foster interest in bamboo, provide educational information, support bamboo arts and crafts and to introduce new varieties to the multi-state region represented by the Texas Bamboo Society.
