Experimental Musical Instruments (http://www.windworld.com/)

An incredible resource on the history, origins, innovative designs and ongoing experimentations in the development of musical instruments and the exploration of sound.

"Bart Hopkin and friends put together a phenomenal 14 years of `Experimental Musical Instruments' - Quarterly publications!!!
Back issues are still available!.
Many contain articles on the history, design and construction of bamboo musical instruments, in addition to extensive information on other types of instruments and sounds, many which could be applied to bamboo.

The book - `Musical Instrument Design' by Bart Hopkin, with an introduction by John Scoville, includes many references to bamboo musical instrument design and construction, and is highly recommended!"

These publications opened my eyes n ears to the exploratory world of `experimental musical instruments'. which broadly expanded my perception of the imaginary possibilities in the ways that bamboo could be used for the making and playing of musical instruments.
