Hi:
Are there instructions online for making very easy bamboo crafts?
Also, I am intersted in making bamboo trellis's for my vines to climb. I made my first one by drilling holes in canes and wiring them into a crossed pattern - like tic tac toe... Now I've planted my morning glories at the base and they will soon be climbing the trellis. Does anybody have ideas on a better way to make trellis's?
How can I make an easy fence with bamboo? I don't have many tools, just a drill...
Thanks,
Bambi

Hi Bambi!
There are ways to make a trellis without a lot of tools.

Try leaving some branch stubs on the canes, and experiment weaving with the bamboo. The stubs interlock the bamboo together.

here is one example:

Thanks so much for letting me know how to make trellises and fences. I have the Scarlet morning glory on one bamboo trellis and the Heavenly Blue on another. I'm currently making one for the Moon Flower vine.
The morning glory trellis that is on the site is a work of abstract art. Were the stalks soaked so they could be bent? I tried it and they snapped and broke!
Take Care,
Jan
