Under the shade of a Beech tree,
moisturized by an occasional rain,
after a few years these chimes return to life,
coated with a velvety carpet of moss.
In the spring and autumn they shimmer vibrant green.

Dampened by rain, bleached chimes change from beige to tan.
Where the nodes consistantly carress their companion chimes,
they become burnished with rings of gold.
