The display structure was taken to events as poles, and then assembled
using rubber-bands, made from car tire inner-tubes and short lengths of
bamboo which secured the rubberbands.

Up ! UP ! and Away !!
Bamboo is at home in the breeze
Relax your mind, extend your horizons
Dream with Bamboo!

Using bamboo and elastic bands to build structures is only limited by our imagination and resources!!

This simple chime just dangles and sways (http://www.bamboocraft.net/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=765) ...till the breeze suddenly picks up, ... then it sings with praise.
The top framework is attached with recycled copper wire.

Wind Chime Display at indoor craft show (http://www.bamboocraft.net/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=766)
This dispaly frame is assembled with inner-tire-tube `rubber bands'.

Wind chimes should also be considered a mobile art.

When I've taken my chimes to craft shows, sometimes a couple people will to look at my chimes, and one person will want the chimes ringing all day long, while the other person dislikes noisey chimes, even finds them irritatiing.
The latter person likes chimes that are more passive, less obstrusive, more like mobiles than chimes.

The former person wants a windchime that is constantly
chattering and clattering, loud and boistrous!

As the saying goes...`different strokes for different folks'
