This three way splitter makes nice wide, curved splits out of 1- 2+ Inch,
(2-5 cm+) diameter poles.

Splitters with many divisions stay on track easier, once the split is started.
The three way splitter needs to be guided with more care and precision, or the splitter will veer off track.
Splitting shorter lengths, this is not a problem.

A 3X bamboo splitter is hard to keep in alignment while splitting...
- If there is a a large gap between the splitter and the bamboo.
It would be handy to have different sizes of 3X bamboo splitters.
- With very long splits one has to keep a watchful eye that the splitter doesn't go off track.
- If the bamboo is knobby or if the bamboo fibers aren't in straight alignment. (varies with type of bamboo)
