We laughed so hard, that, years later...I still get a good chuckle, when I think of the time that some friends stopped by after a late night work shift, and we sat around the table painting some bamboo `stick creatures' that I had previously made.
Tim was putting the final coats of acrylic paint on his creature, when, without warning, the hairs in his paint brush fell apart, sticking to the surface of the bamboo.
We laughed so hard at the sight of his scrawny `possum-dog'.
Tims' dissapointing near disaster had now become an instant success!
Soon we were adding water-based glue to our acrylic paint, cutting up sisal string, and other plant fibers and ingredients and ...
None of us at this bamboo crafting party considered ourselves to be `artists'... but that night we were!
