On Thursday April 26, I received a trailer load of cut bamboo! It is some good stuff! All P. aurea.
I've started to sort it...
I am also going to be making a quantity of bamboo tools to be used in an archeological dig. The tool looks like a "tonque depressor", but is to be pointed at one end so that the objects searched for in the dig will not get damaged.
This is not a tool that one could purchase at Home Depot.
