Hi everyone,

My name is Elina and I have a project in mind which I need help with

I want to attach poles to the wall i my bathroom, but have not much of idea how to do that

the poles are 45-50mm at the base, and I am not sure if I should just hang them on individually (drill a hole in bamboo, screw nail to my wall and hang pole on it) or there is a better way? should I approach it as a fence? twine poles together before attaching?

any ideas would be highly appreciated

A similar question has come up before:

One thing to consider is how the bamboo will react to the more constant moisture in a bathroom.

Thanks for that, but how do I go about attaching the poles to the wall?

that is a tough question - twinning them together first would leave less holes in your wall - in case you did not like it - but you would still need to drill some holes in the bamboo and in your wall to secure it.

You could try attaching a strong horizontal piece at the top and then drilling holes in the tops of the pieces and attaching them to the horizontal piece - so it would be like a bamboo curtain and move.

One thing to consider is to cut the bamboo just above the node on the top and on the bottom if possible - so that moisture won't have a chance to collect inside the bamboo.

Is the bamboo that you are planning to use dry and aged?
