I live in Northern California, and keep my Lucky Bamboo, orchids, avocado, etc. outside year around. It's not as tropical plant friendly here as in Southern Cal, but they all seem to do okay. The main question I have is how much direct sun does Lucky Bamboo need? Should it be in mostly shade or morning sun or afternoon sun?
Why are the tips of the leaves brown and dry on my largest and healthiest plant? The plant seems fine otherwise, and continues to thrive. On my smaller plant, the leaves are spotted yellow? It doesn't look healthy at all.
About a year ago I saw a web site that showed large beautiful pictures of Lucky Bamboo and other Dracaena plants. The pictures featured Lucky woven into different shapes and one plant that was HUGE, and was in the shape of a dome. I haven't been able to find the site again. If anyone knows, I would appreciate it.
