Hello Angel,
Thank you for becoming part of this group!
I am looking forward to getting one of your incredible
bamboo saxes in the near future, and playing it in our
bamboo grove. I wonder if the sound affects the growth
of bamboo?...perhaps I should practice first inside!
No, I don't think bamboo would mind, but perhaps I
should warn the neighbors!
Thank you again, and Mariana, for traveling such a
long distance to demonstrate your craft skills and
music for the American Bamboo Society National Meeting
in Atlanta, Georgia last year.
Your bamboo music vibrated to a frequency that gave
the event a special atmosphere, and though almost half
a year has gone by, I can still hear the sound of your
instruments!
As you have said, the bamboo sax, though resembling
the sound of a regular sax, has qualities and
differences of it's own design, makeing it a unique
instrument.
And it's because of your skills, that have been able
to shape pieces of bamboo to make wonderful music.
In this way bamboo enables us to express ourselves as
individuals.

Hello Mark and group,
Thanks for your words.
It is a very good news that bamboocrafts has been created. I think that bamboo artisans/artists arround the world have lots of inquires, questions and comments to do.

I don't know if bamboo sounds affect bamboo growing...all my bamboos are hearing my music everyday! At least my neighbors are OK with sounds.
Really I don't make much music but sounds, or better, noise.
The bamboo saxophone making is a noisy business, specially when one try the harmonics and the mouthpieces response. Flutemaking as well, but less than saxophones.
It would be a good idea to know who are at this group. How many members?
I introduce myself:
