Here are two pictures of a bamboo beaded eye glass holder that
I made from Phyllostachys aurea branches, grown in Austin, TX.

After Mark lost 2 pairs of reading glasses in two days, I found
it necessary to use bamboo in a new way!
This is actually the second eye glass holder that I made for Mark.
The first one is somewhere in the moso grove in Avery Island.
In his enthusiasm during a grove cleaning exercise, the arm of his glasses came off with the eye glass holder attached and are somewhere in that grove.
Maybe someone will find it some day. That holder was
a combination of small 3mm bamboo beads alternating with longer beads.
