Good morning
I am growing Chimonobambusa yunnanensis & Dendrocalamus minor from
seeds (seed were sawn in august) in a green house.
It is about two month that the leaves are getting white and degenerate.
The soil is planting soil mix Baltic sphagnum peat moss 95% organic
matter &ph 3.7-4.3 N 0.8-1.6 P0.01-0.05 K0.03
The plant are being fertilized with a 20-20-20 in 1 gram per 1 liter
once ten days.
Are you familiar with that phenomenon?
best regards
Thank you

Did you just re-pot them? They sometimes don't do well when repotted because the roots are stressed. Keep the soil moderately moist, enough light, humidity and warmth and It should do fine.
Both my Buddha belly and Dendrocalamus Sinicus lost most of their original leaves when I got them and it looked similar to your plant with the leaves drying up, but they are also replacing them with new leaves now.
I'll be posting some pictures once they get nice and bushy.

Hi
I had similar problems with my Moso. Please read our old posts at:
http://www.bamboocraft.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2782&highlight=agrobambu
Now this Moso have 2 years and are in the ground very healthy. I presume this is normal when this plants, like yours, are so young.
One important factor is the Relative Humidity of the environement where the plant is located. They are planned to be on the grove. Isn't? It's very difficult to reproduce the same conditions in a green house or in a garden. Usually the bamboos require a high humidity condition to grow well and healthy.
If possible, I suggest you to keep them near a better humidity condition. Please, send us the results.
Thanks,
Ene
