Currently, I am watering my bamboos about once a week and the temps average from 40-60degrees.
Would It be helpful towards next year's growth to continue watering them throughout the cold season?

I know it is good to keep your plants well watered before a freeze.

It makes sense because having moisture in the ground should raise the ground temperature, or prevent the ground from getting dry and freezing.

I'm assuming when it starts snowing, stacking more snow on the plants will provide moisture when it gets extremely cold right?
