Has anyone drilled/cut (etc) bamboo poles to turn them into a musical instrument?
If so - how'd yah do it?!

I use bamboo for flutes. For mine I harvest them with a hacksaw then use a large rattail rasp to take out the inside nodes. Curing is the bigest problem I find. It akes a long time for it to cure. Slower is better in my experance. Slower curing makes less cracks.
