Hello there!!
I noticed that some people were interested on building a recumbent using bamboo.
I'm a bamboo and HPV(Human Powered Vehicle) enthusiast and I've made my self one and it`s working wonderfully, ;-)
I`m the one riding it...
My next project is a M5 recumbent in with the pedals are in front of the front wheel and the seat on the mittle. This way the weight distribution between the wheels is better(almost exacly 50% on eatch).
The main idea is to use the flexibility of the bamboo as a shock absorver but I still don't figured out a way to stop this flexibility of the front part as I pedal. I plan to use a large diameter bamboo to help but I would love to have more ideas!
Hugs for everybody,
See`ya,
Klaus
