how to polish bamboo...

guys can u please help me....i had coloured fresh bamboos. i want to give a shine....how to do that..i had used laqer and thinner in 2:8 ratio but its not giving shine. can u please help me....

also tell me how can i colour bamboos in different way...
now i did with the permanent colour and its working ok for me.

ur views will be very much helpful to me.so please help me....

I like to use a "paste floor wax" that comes in a can to polish bamboo.
I don't know what is available in your country.
