Hi James,
For coloring bamboo, you can use Fiber Reactive dyes like what is available from http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/3796-AA.shtml?lnav=paints.html]Dharma Trading Company.
The dye will change the color of the ends of the bamboo - but will not change the color of the surface of the bamboo unless the shiny surface has "aged" enough naturally - or is sanded off.

Hi Carole,
thanks for your help. it was really very important contact details for me. But still I am confused about the require materials/chemicals for each color, duration of dyeing, dyeing process and other information for dyeing.
I'v sent a mail following their contact details for those requirements. I don't know they will reply me or not.So if you have any ideaon my requirements then please let know.
Thanks agian. I will stay in touch

lol i think to color bamboo is just to have a defferent kind of color of barnish and brush them into bamboo, also for dye you can just paint it to bamboo easy!!
