Anyone want Bamboo

I bought a house with Bamboo growing in the yard. Anyone want any? I can't get rid of it. This stuff is imposible to kill. If you can't take it does anyone know how you kill this stuff?

what kind of bamboo u got and how big does it grow? Put up signs and get a bunch of them into pots, and you can make some money by doing a garage sale or something. If its a type i want I'll buy it off you.

I also bought a house with bamboo in 1991 and I was excited (and still am) to have an opportunity to live with and learn about bamboo.

I'm not sure what kind it is. I know nothing about the stuff except its impossible to kill. It grows about 10 to 15 feet. I was told the foreign guy that lived there before planted it and use to make furniture out of it. Is this the kind your looking for? How do you put it in plots? Digging it up seems impossible.

I just got an invasive species, a rhizome from some one, and it just started coming up today- about 2 inch high shoots. is it really necessary to get a bamboo barrier for it or will mowing the lawn keep the roots from coming up in the neighbors yard?
