I still haven't been able to identify the bamboo that I have. I see a lite yellow streak down the culm. It is only about 1/6 of the surface area (circumference) of the culm. The funny thing is that it's in a different place at each joint of the culm. What I mean is it doesn't run all the way up in the same place? Does this help any in determining the type of Bamboo I have? I am waiting on new shoots to spring up so I can get a picture of them.<p>

I cannot see the yellow streaks in your photos. Hoever, do they run along the sulcus? Being as they have a sulcus they are Phyllostachys bamboo of some type. There are not that many timber types with yellow streaks on the culms, so it cane be narrowed down pretty easy.
