I have been reading just about everything I possibly can on how to get the sugars out of the bamboo stalk. I was told by someone that they take and boil the cut bamboo in hydrogen poroxide. Has anyone tried this method and if so how did it work. This seems like a lot of trouble to go to, especially for large amounts to cure or treat it. I am trying to find out if you boil it when it's green or do you wait untill it drys to boil it. Thanks, Charlene
