How long does it take to identify bamboo grown from seed? I have about 35 seedlings that are growing from online sources Including hirts, seedsdirect and the ebayer from Germany.
Types of bamboos that are growing. all were planted in late June to early July 07
Gigantochloa atroviolacea
Bambusa Lako
Himalayacalamus Falconeri
Bambusa arundinacea
Bambusa ventricosa
Dendrocalamus Minor
The Minor are doing the best but seem to be a much looser clumper maybe runner than the other ones.
