I guess my potted moso doesn't likes miracle grow soil. Can someone confirm that the leaves are burning? Know of any methods I can use to find out the cause?

I wish I had a definitive answer to this problem.
It looks like the leaves grew out but didn't green up.
Any idea what the PH of the soil is?
Phyllostachys edulis is more particular about needing acidic conditions.
I have read that in some Moso growing areas in China the PH was around 5.0 ... other articles suggest growing range from 5.0 to 6.5.

TexasGrower,
Far from being an expert myself I’d say you have leaf burn. What’s causing it is a different story. Have you recently moved these plants or changed your fertilization routine? Here are some ideas – sunburn, fertilizer burn, salt build up or dry air. Mark has some points too about the PH. I’ll follow this thread to see if I can learn something myself.

They were green when they first came out, these happened later. I guess I'll need to test the PH. How can I do that?
Here is what I've been using for the past few months.
