Repotted from the nursery several weeks ago, this may be the species I'll be using in the shadier places near the forest.
I hope it likes the fallout from the firs.

Hi Glenn,
This is a pretty bamboo, first time I've had a good look at it.
Thanks again for providing yet another new addition to the gallery collection!
I'm sure it will love being under the fir tree.
Also I'm presuming the fir tree is acid loving which this bamboo likes.

Variegated bamboos always look their best when given ample shade and filtered sunlight.
At 6ft (2M) max. height this plant should look striking, though Sasas are attractive too when dwarfed as a potted plant.

Plenty of forest room, and nothing much else but sparse grass will grow there. Definitely acid, and the first branches of the firs are about eight feet from the ground.
A good home indeed!
