Does anyone know anything about a bamboo product being used as an organic epoxy-like resin? I've seen plastic cups made from corn or soy biproducts which are biodegradable in a compost pile. I've also heard that the Japanese had developed a plastic from bamboo and it was in use by Mitsubishi in at least one of their concept cars. I wonder if it's photoreactive, or how much so, how I could get my hands on some, how they make it... etc etc etc.. If it's not too photoreactive, could use it for making some pretty nifty airplane parts.
