Just recently created an account here, so I thought I might introduce myself. I got into this woodcraft subfield about 6 months ago. It has steadily taken up more of my life ever since! :D My name is Ben, and I'm located in Missouri, USA. These forums have been a great resource for improving my work.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for joining and glad to hear that the site has been of some use!
The heart and soul of this site comes from the music of bamboo.
My own view of the site is somewhat disjointed because I see so much more that I want to write about and much work yet to be done to further develop the site and not enough hours in a day to acculmplish things.
So I've excepted it will always be a work in progress and take the laid back approach that it is what it is and everything else it could be is potential.

Is there any particular style of flute you enjoy making?

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the welculm! Transverse flute and NAF are my current interests. Most recently I've been greatly impressed and inspired by the work of Romy Benton (Romyboo). Though I am still quite the amateur, I'll see if I can't get pics of some of my pieces up here soon.
