Bamboo poles for flute making?

I'm not sure what species these poles are here on this ebay lot but would these be good for flute making ?

I noticed the same auction item a while ago, small world huh? I think it is some variety of phyllotachys, but i'm no expert. I do know that some species may go dark like that as they mature. Should be decent flute material- good dimensions at least. You might want to ask the seller about the bamboo's age at harvesting (at least 3 years old is what the literature suggests). Also the degree of dryness may be an issue, if the bamboo has started cracking or molding.
