I hope the PPB be calm in your areas. But here, we are discussing a lot about preservation and treatment to keep our stocks and works free from PPBs (mainly Dinoderus and Lyctus).
We have a group of discussion called Agabambu : Associação Gaúcha do Bambu (http://br.groups.yahoo.com/group/agabambu/) seccion "Grupo Caruncho" (Caruncho= woodworm), where we talk changing informations about this matter.
Now I'm researching about Chlorophorus annularis - Bamboo Longhorn Beetle - also called "Bamboo Tiger" ( due to it's color and stripes)
This Cerambicydae is so or more dangerous than Dinoderus or Lyctus. They are more active and it's damage is greater than the others. It's prefered wood is........"bambooooo".
You can see biographical info at the Pests and Diseases Image Library: http://www.padil.gov.au/viewPestDiagnosticImages.aspx?id=122

I have a collection of pics of this insect in all phases of life(icluding a 3 min video of larvas and pupas) and it's damage, I'll try to attach some of them to express my revolt
OBS.: This set of pics is only 10% of all I have.
I hope be useful

PS.:To USA see photo reference in a Tecnhical work at "Insects of Hawai " (http://www.hear.org/starr/hiinsects/images/thumbnails/html/chlorophorus_annularis.htm)
- Mark had reference in a old post too.
- Angel :In Brazil/Argentina and South America literature about this insect is low or not mentioned.
- If someone know something will be welcome.
