All of my seedlings thus far have never shown me any affect to the lower humidity in the house. Do you think they might develop a resistance to this as they get older due to being started in the house, or is this a characteristic they develop as they mature? Both moso and heteroclada show no signs. I do have radiator heat, but I can say that right now, my hands and mouth feel pretty dry.

Clint, I use a water bottle with a spray nozzle on it I bought at Walmart for all my tropicals that I grow inside.
It provides the humidity necessary in the winter. I have radiator heat too.
It is much better than hot air heat for the plants and you.:)
I still use the water bottle also.

Still, I'm more curious about when they start from seeds in that kind of environment. I have never had to spray them ever.

Yeah, there I go, bragging, and for the first time ever, one of my moso has curled up it's leaves.

Update:

I watered the plant and it came back really quickly. Alot of the old tiny leaves died off, but in the long run this seems like it helped. I repotted the plant in a huge pot and now I do not have to worry so much. The plant was running out of root room and watering it just left it thirsty sooner.
