Want bamboo arts/crafts how-to info

I just joined this forum in hopes of finding some good advice. I just returned to my home (Portland,OR) from visiting my father in Mississippi. He has a nice grove of bamboo in his backyard which I cut a large sample and brought back to Portland. I'm looking for recommendations on good books or preferrably websites where I can get ideas and plans for arts and crafts to make with this material. A few interests that I have are; build garden borders, a digeridoo and Native American Flutes. But any good information would be highly appreciated. thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Thanks for the links....looks like some great places to start researching. I don't know what kind of bamboo it is. canes were about 30 feet tall and dia was 1" to about 4" max. Color is a nice dark green going to pale yellow.
