Hi Clint,
Quite a difference in size between the two species.
Are they a lighter beige color in daylight or a darker tan as in the pic?

Of the few Phyllostachys species I've seen in flower, they've been similar but mostly empty husks.

That is pretty true to their color.

I'll show you one of the moso seeds when I transplant them. They look so cool, with a little plant sticking up and the roots sticking down

I still have over 100 Hetroclada seeds and over 50 moso seeds left.

I've got 17 Hetroclada growing and 10 Moso.
