What is the easiest way to put holes in bamboo?
What is the best protection from weather, would clear coat work?
I want to protect the natural finish with out changing the color.
If I do want to change the color would wood stain work?
How is the best way to detect pitch or sound or to change it?
Length and diameter? I really want to make windchimes that are attractive
but also have a good sound.

Hi Linda,
You've got some great questions!

What we need to do is make some into separate thread topics.
It really helps to have a Thread title that reflects the subject as this makes later searching for info easier for everyone.

On the other hand, I also think that we should be able to post like you have, listing all the things we want to do and need to know about bamboo.

The site is still under culmstruction, and over the next few months we'll be doing some restructuring and working on improvements.
