May 21, 2006: Ambiance and Garden Tour at OBA Treasurer Mike JamesLong's residence, Eugene. OBA members and their guests will be most welcome. Food (chicken, rice, vegetable mixture) and soft drinks will be provided. Guests may bring a pot-luck salad or dessert if you wish.
Mike's commentary: NO DOGS allowed. Young children must be supervised. Since last fall I have been planning and creating a large pond and wetland area. Many plants were dug up, potted, and are now being replanted. Highlights of the garden include a Kinninji Fence I commissioned by Carol Stangler and whose construction was supplemented by my contractor son Russell. I should have several virtual tour maps and an alphabetic plant listing for those "nurdy" gardeners like myself. Come celebrate Bamboo and Mike's remodeled garden. Further details will be provided in our newsletter and we will send out an Email reminder with map as the time draws near.
