The 2nd Annual Satsuki Matsuri (May Festival) will take place on Sunday, May 7th,2006 from 12 to 4:00 p.m. at the Zilker Botanical Garden and will feature Japanese drumming, dance, martial arts, a variety of cultural artifacts and art forms (ikebana, bonsai, calligraphy, suminagashi,, etc), silent auction and food concession. Admission is FREE. Proceeds of the silent auction and the food concessions will benefit the Taniguchi Garden Revitalization Project and the Japan America Society of Greater Austin, who is hosting the event.
