Friends, i attended this gathering last year and it was Absolutely Amazing , everyone there was really wonderful and so eager to share and learn.
i'm honored this year to share with everyone in my own workshop(s) on bamboo flutemaking and possibly turning green wood on the lathe(bowls,wands,flutes,whatever!).
I urge everyone to reallllly try and make this as it will surely be an infinitely fun and educational experience for everyone!

THE GATHERINGS offer hands-on workshops in craft skills, demonstrations
and discussions with talented artisans from across the continent. There
are field trips and studio visits, tours, music and fun. It is a rare
chance to join and build a community of nature-loving people with a
concern for developing the practices of sustainable living. Hosted by
nationally acclaimed rustic artist, author & teacher DANIEL MACK(www.danielmack.com)
Other opportunities: INVITATION FOR APPLICATIONS “ONCE A TREE” Juried Fine Wood Furniture & Sculpture Show, GAGA Arts Festival June 10-11, 2006.
