The Texas Bamboo Society will meet at Zilker Botanical Garden, Austin, TX starting at 10 am in the Taniguchi Japanese Garden. Learn how to identify different bamboo species by their new shoots. We will be also be doing some light grooming. Bring hand clippers, loppers a saw and gloves for some hands on activities working with bamboo in a public garden. Free.
