Black Mold/Mildew

I live in the southeastern US and I have recently(2 weeks ago) harvested some bamboo. The bamboo had some black mold/mildew on it and I was wondering what would be the best way to remove it. Here are a few pictures, I don't know how to make them show up in the post, but I attached them. Sorry about the blurrieness. I will try to take some better ones later. Thanks

Are the poles harvested ones that dried in the grove?
