This plant was introduced into the USA by Wilson in 1907. It was not known to have flowered till recently.
This bamboo was labeled in '89 as Sinarundinaria murielae

The clone introduced by Wilson set seed in 1980's & 1990's and died.
Seedling variants are available under many cultivar names.
The dates the above photos were taken was the last time I saw these plants, and at that time they were not flowering.
Q. Does anyone know if any of the original Wilson clone was able to be rejuvenated or if we now only have memories and photos of this plant?
