Hello.
I'm in Thailand on holiday and have picked up a few sections of green bamboo (I don't know the species, but the sections are 2 - 3 inches in diameter) that the local drink vendors use as cheap cups for their customers.
I quite like the cups and was considering taking some home with me, only I expect they will rot -- or at least become unhygenic to drink out of -- very quickly. Is this the case, and if so are there any simple measures I can take to extend the cups' shelf-life and make them worth keeping?
Thanks
Neil
