Held in conjunction with the Tenth Annual Texas Bamboo Festival, Zilker Botanical Gardens, Austin, Texas on Saturday and Sunday August 24 and 25, 2002

Internationally known Artist and Sculptor, Akio Hizume will conduct a

"Let's Build a Star Cage Workshop"

Akio Hizume, is visiting the United States from Japan and will share his ideas as he demonstrates a combination of architecture and geometry with bamboo!

Workshop participants will make a star cage structure using 270 bamboo rods. The finished size will be 33 cm in diameter.
The Workshop is limited to twenty participants.

The workshop duration is five hours
